The Forklift Operator Safety Training Course is designed to provide the necessary training for participants to comply with the Powered Industrial Truck Operator Training requirements described in OSHA regulation 1926.602(d) and 1910.178(l). The course includes an in depth review of general safety requirements and safe work practices for industrial and rough terrain forklifts typically used in construction and manufacturing environments. The course includes a written exam and a short hands-on practical evaluation exercise to familiarize participants with basic safe forklift operation. Each successful participant will receive a completion card following the course.

Recommended For: OSHA requires any personnel operating forklifts in construction, manufacturing and other general industry environments to complete this training. Supervisors, Managers, Safety Managers and other personnel responsible for supervising forklift operators should also attend this course.
